HYPNOTIC PAIN MANAGEMENT AND CONTROL Instructor - Sheila M. Street, CH CI, CT.NLP DATES: Spring 2012 - to be announced (3 days) COURSE FEE: $400.00 FULL TUITION REQUIRED BY: Payment may be made by cash, cheque, money order or credit card using PayPal™. If using PayPal™, please contact me by phone for the web-page link (you will be required to provide additional identity information for security purposes if you wish to use your credit card). Payments should be made out to Integrated Dynamics Resources (my legal company name). What this course will bring to your hypnosis or caring profession toolbox:
The work in this course has been expanded from a course that was originally one day, in order to provide for more time to explore and learn different inductions for rapid pain relief, and take more time to mindfully encompass the different facets of the course. It will be very hands-on. You will learn to work more in-depth with medical personnel, how to market yourself better to them, and how to gain their trust. You will learn about the Esdaile State, used extensively in operating rooms and in army field hospitals to facilitate a stage of hypnosis where no other anesthetic was used/possibly not available. If there is enough interest, we will consider future workshop/seminar(s) to explore this and learn how to use it. If time permits, we will have a demonstration (provided there are willing volunteers). Location and Logistics These will vary depending on the class size. Most classes and groups will be local to Windsor, Ontario. Larger classes will be held at one of the local Hotels/Inns. Smaller classes will be held at my home office, which offers lots of room for comfortable practice, other amenities not found in meeting rooms, and free parking (either in Visitors or within easy walking distance on side-streets). A Certificate of Completion will be issued to participants at the end of the course - class-participation and demonstrated ability and knowledge must be shown before it is issued. Class size will be limited to ensure individual attention and assessment - we suggest that you sign up early!
